Damn, is it 2009?

Ok folks, it has been a long time since I've been here, but I felt the need to post today. So I was on Facebook, minding my own business & being nosey at the same time looking at the status updates and whatnot on my mini-feed. I run across something that catches my eye. There is a man that apparently has been hurt too much in the past by black women & has given up on us. It's unfortunate for him, but shit happens. What catches my eye is the statements below it. I'm still shocked that there are people out there who play into sterotypes. I hate that folks get e-courage on facebook because I know for a FACT the statements wouldn't be uttered to a black woman in her face. This is a copy/paste of the convo:

What can I say other than we're crazy! Lol. God brings people into your life for a reason. I'm trying to figure out what the hell was he thinking with this combination! It's amazing how we have gone from work relationships to strong friendships. Although our personalities can be lethal when combined, we have yet to catch a felony, lmao. BTW Matt & Casey have our bail money.

In the last few years of us knowing each other we have all gone through break-up/make-ups, stalkers, birth of Cam, crazy BD drama, bathroom sinks and other crazy random issues. It is great to have a group of friends that have drama but not in the circle, lol. Road trips, bar trips, driving down the street with the headlights off trips, all make for fun times and memories. I am going to miss them when I move, but Toledo isn't big enough for all of us! *tear*

1st blog: My review of the movie Internet Dating

Where do I start with this movie? 1st I'll say, I love Katt Williams. I'm a huge fan. Very funny man. I'm still trying to figure out why he signed up to be in this raggedy bootleg ass movie. The first clue that the movie is going to be bad is the involvement of Master P and his whole family in the production of this "film". I really had doubts when I saw Lil Romeo wrote it. This movie is extra-ultra cheesy complete with visual thought bubbles and cartoonish music that plays on cue. Do I even need to tell you the plot? In a nutshell, Katt Williams plays a man who tries his unlucky hand at internet dating, only to find himself in sticky situations with the women he meets online. *Insert unfunny jokes and bad production inbetween and there is the whole movie* Not one laugh, so sad.
